On Wednesday May
6th, 2015 a woman Cheryl Treadway and her three children were held at
knifepoint at their home in Florida, United States. Treadway talked her
boyfriend down and then proceeded to ask if she could order a pizza. She called
Pizza Hut and ordered a large pepperoni pizza with a side of
911HOSTAGE. Under the comments section, there was a message asking them to
send help and call 911 as they were being held hostage," the Highlands
County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. The Pizza Hut she called recognized
her phone number because she is a constant costumer. Reports claimed
that the man and woman were fighting all day, she tried to pick her kids up
form school and the man insisted on coming with her. Soon after the call the
woman escaped her home and she waited to talk to the police officers. She
said that her boyfriend was inside the home with her two children. He had
a knife and was holding them hostage, the police showed up and after about
20 minutes the man, Ethan Nickerson, walked out of the home, gave up the
children, and was arrested. He was charged
with aggravated assault with a weapon, battery, false imprisonment and
obstructing justice by depriving communication to law enforcement.
